Foreign and Local Analysts Recommend “Purchase” Mitratel Shares
INDUSTRY.co.id, Jakarta- Despite moving below the initial public offering (IPO) price, shares of PT Dayamitra Telekomunikasi Tbk (MTEL) or Mitratel still receive a “buy” recommendation by a number of capital market analysts, both local and foreign analysts. The “buy” recommendation is based on a number of advantages that Mitratel has, including, Mitratel is the largest telecommunications tower company in Indonesia with 28,030 towers as of 21 August 2021. A series of tower acquisitions brings the tenant ratio to 1.57 times in 2021 and will increase to 1.72 times in 2023. Additionally, Mitratel operates in a consolidated tower industry with strong mobile growth prospects. Mitratel provides a strong foundation for accelerated multi-income growth in 2021-2023. Mitratel has an access strategy to the rapidly growing digital infrastructure business in Indonesia. Kresna Hutabarat and Henry Tedja, capital market analysts at PT Mandiri Sekuritas, for example, recommend “buying” shares with a target price of IDR 970 per share. This target is 25% above Mitratel’s closing share price on Thursday (23/12) of IDR 775 per share. Like Kresna and Henry, Niko Margaronis, capital markets analyst at PT BRI Danareksa Sekuritas also stated that Mitratel is the most attractive choice for mobile network operators (MNO). B2S can originate from Telkomsel (TSEL) and collocation from non-TSEL MNOs on previously inaccessible towers. The rental ratio is still large at around 1.50 times. Therefore, Niko recommends “buying” MTEL shares with a target price of IDR 1,040 per share. This target is 34.1% higher than the closing price of Mitratel shares on Thursday (23/12) of IDR 775 per share. The Morgan Stanley analyst team also recommends “buy” Mitratel shares with a target price of IDR 1,000 per share. This target is 29% higher than the closing price of Mitratel shares on Thursday (23/12) of IDR 775 per share. This recommendation, according to the Morgan Stanley analyst team, is, among other things, supported by organic growth. “We are optimistic that Mitratel can grow significantly faster than the industry through organic growth generated from outside Java, where smaller mobile operators are now expanding and where Mitratel has the highest share of the tower market, at 41%,” wrote the Morgan research team Stanley. Not to be left behind, foreign analysts, Piyush Choudhary and Rishabh Dhancholia, from HSBC Global Research, recommend “buy” MTEL shares with a target price of IDR 1,120 per share. This target is 44.5% higher than the closing price of Mitratel shares on Thursday (23/12) of IDR 775 per share. According to Piyush and Rishabh, Mitratel continues to explore tower acquisitions. With strong cash flow and experience in making acquisitions, Mitratel is well positioned to take advantage of inorganic growth opportunities. “We estimate that Mitratel will acquire another 6,000 towers during 2022-2023,” said the two analysts.

New Business Strategy Can Increase Mitratel’s Revenue by 14.41 Percent in 2022
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – PT Dayamitra Telekomunikasi Tbk (MTEL) or Mitratel is ready to implement several business strategies such as mergers, acquisitions, expansion and efficiency to achieve positive performance growth in the coming years.
According to Piyush Choudhary and Rishabh Dhancholia, analysts at HSBC Global Research in a research report announced recently, they project that Mitratel’s performance will grow positively in 2022. “We estimate Mitratel’s revenue will reach IDR 7.94 trillion in 2022 or an increase of around 14.41 percent compared to Mitratel’s projected revenue until the end of 2021 which is IDR 6.94 trillion,” said the two analysts in a press release, Friday (24 /12/2021). Piyush and Rishabh estimate that Mitratel’s operating profit will also increase 6.18 percent to IDR 3.09 trillion in 2022, from the estimated profit in 2021 of IDR 2.91 trillion. Mitratel’s net profit is projected to grow 22.52 percent, to IDR 1.85 trillion in 2022 compared to the Company’s estimated profit achievement until the end of 2021 of IDR 1.51 trillion.
Mitratel’s organic growth
Piyush and Rishabh said that as a tower company with ownership of 28,030 towers, Mitratel is believed to be ready to achieve rapid organic growth. Moreover, Mitratel has a close relationship with Telkomsel, the largest mobile network operator (MNO) in Indonesia.
This subsidiary, PT Telkom Indonesia Tbk (TLKM), is also considered to have higher collocation potential compared to similar companies. This is partly because of their unique location, where 57 percent of them are outside Java. Apart from that, Mitratel has higher capacity potential, because its tenancy ratio is lower than similar companies. “Expanding MNO coverage and network densification will drive MTEL’s organic growth,” said Piyush and Rishabh.
Telkomsel B2S orders
For information, MTEL’s inorganic growth was positive in the previous year, the company purchased 13,965 towers in 2019-2021. Likewise, Mitratel’s balance sheet, which has relatively low debt costs, strong cash flow, and its experience in making acquisitions that offer synergies, positions Mitratel to take advantage of future inorganic growth opportunities.
On the other hand, Mitratel also benefits from built-to-suit (B2S) orders from Telkomsel which has the widest network coverage, including leading the market in areas outside Java. The organic growth track record for the B2S tower portfolio expanded to 12,893 as of June 2021. “Mitratel will continue to benefit from organic growth driven by the expansion of coverage in areas outside Java by other MNOs and operator capacity needs in line with the surge in data demand,” explained the two.
2,700 B2S towers by 2023
In 2020 to 2023, MTEL is also expected to add 2,700 B2S towers. Specifically, the company acquired 13,965 towers during 2019-2021 bringing its inorganic tower portfolio to 15,137 towers (54 percent of the tower portfolio). “Mitratel will continue to explore tower acquisitions. With strong cash flow and experience in making acquisitions, Mitratel is well positioned to take advantage of inorganic growth opportunities. “We also estimate that Mitratel will acquire another 6,000 towers during 2022-2023,” said the two analysts.
Sumber : Industry.co.id https://www.industry.co.id/read/99808/analis-asing-dan-lokal-merekomendasikan-beli-saham-mitratelMitratel’s Net Profit is Predicted to Reach IDR 1.3 T During This Year
PT Dayamitra Telekomunikasi Tbk (MTEL) or Mitratel’s net profit is expected to increase this year. This is in line with the performance of tower issuers whose coverage is increasingly wider outside Java and their close relationship with Telkomsel. Niko Margaronis, BRI Danareksa Sekuritas analyst, said that these two factors will be Mitratel’s strength in achieving better company performance this year. He projects that Mitratel’s revenue this year could reach IDR 6.8 trillion or grow 10 percent from 2020. Meanwhile, its net profit is expected to shoot up 116.4 percent year on year (yoy) to IDR 1.3 trillion. In fact, next year, the company’s revenue and net profit are estimated to reach IDR 7.8 trillion and IDR 1.78 trillion. Mitratel is recorded as having more than 28,030 tower units currently with 42,016 rentals spread throughout Indonesia. As many as 57 percent of the total towers are located outside Java. “Perhaps previously, Mitratel’s captive market outside Java was only Telkomsel because 10 years ago this area was not attractive to other operators. But in 2018, XL has announced that it will start expanding outside Java. “So Mitratel will become even more attractive because its collocation ratio will increase in the future,” explained Niko in his statement, Thursday (23/12). This increase in colocation, continued Niko, will mainly occur in Sumatra, Kalimantan and Sulawesi. In this way, Mitratel’s profits will increase because the company already has towers on these three islands. Meanwhile, Telkomsel is recorded as having transferred its 10,050 telecommunications towers to Mitratel. This number one telecommunications operator in Indonesia still has thousands more towers that could be released to Mitratel. According to Niko, this factor will make Mitratel even more attractive because previously the towers were single tenant or could only be used by Telkomsel. However, by being acquired by Mitratel, it can be marketed for use by other operators. “This will certainly bring big profits to Mitratel,” he said. Until the third quarter of 2021, Danareksa Sekuritas estimates that Mitratel’s revenue will grow by around 2-3 percent compared to the previous quarter. This projection is based on the Telkom Group report which recorded a double-digit increase in external tower revenue on an annual basis and an increase of around 2 percent compared to the first quarter. According to Niko, growth could possibly be higher because there is no Mitratel revenue data sourced from Telkomsel. It is estimated that the revenue obtained from Telkomsel will increase even more because the income of its two biggest competitors, namely Tower Bersama and Sarana Nusantara Infrastructure, sourced from Telkomsel, has not increased significantly. Meanwhile, net profit is estimated to grow higher, namely around 5 percent. “Bottomline tower businesses that have low leverage will definitely see higher margin increases,” he said. Likewise, Mandiri Sekuritas also views Mitratel’s growth prospects as very attractive considering the consolidation trend in the tower industry and the continued growth in demand for internet access. “Telecommunications towers are currently one of the prominent infrastructure in providing national internet access,” explained Kresna Hutabarat, Mandiri Sekuritas analyst, separately. Mandiri Sekuritas estimates that the company’s revenue by the end of the year could reach IDR 6.71 trillion or grow 8.5 percent from last year. Apart from that, EBITDA is estimated to increase 19.8 percent (yoy) to IDR 5 trillion and net profit will increase 127.2 percent (yoy) to IDR 1.36 trillion.

Sedangkan laba bersihnya diperkirakan akan melesat 116,4 persen year on year (yoy) ke Rp 1,3 triliun.

Jakarta: PT Dayamitra Telekomunikasi Tbk or Mitratel is predicted to continue carrying out a series of acquisitions of 6,000 telecommunications towers during 2022-2023. As of August 21, 2021, this telecommunications tower management issuer owned 28,030 towers.
PT Mandiri Sekuritas capital market analyst Kresna Hutabarat said the series of acquisitions of thousands of towers would bring the tenant ratio to 1.57 times in 2021 and would increase to 1.72 times in 2023. “Mitratel operates in a consolidated tower industry with strong mobile growth prospects. “Mitratel provides a strong basis for accelerating multi-income growth in 2021-2023 with a strategy of access to the digital infrastructure business which is growing rapidly in Indonesia,” said Kresna, quoted in a press release, Tuesday, December 21, 2021. Meanwhile, the share price of the issuer coded MTEL at the close of trading yesterday was at IDR 770 per share or corrected compared to the closing trading level last weekend at IDR 785 per share. This price is also still experiencing a decline from the price at the IPO of IDR 800 per share. “Despite moving below, the IPO price, MTEL or Mitratel shares are still recommended ‘buy’ with a target price of IDR 970 per share. “This target is 26 percent above yesterday’s closing price at IDR 770 per share,” he said. Meanwhile, the Morgan Stanley analyst team revealed that MTEL could develop faster than organic growth industries generated from outside Java. Morgan Stanley projects that Mitratel’s share price has the potential to move to the level of IDR 1,000 per share. “We are optimistic that Mitratel can grow significantly faster than the industry through organic growth generated from outside Java, where smaller mobile operators are now developing. “Moreover, Mitratel has the highest tower market share at 41 percent,” wrote the Morgan Stanley research team. HSBC Global Research analyst Piyush Choudhary also said that the target for MTEL shares is at the level of IDR 1,120 per share. According to him, MTEL’s acquisitions and strong cash flow will drive organic growth. “With strong cash flow and experience in making acquisitions, Mitratel is in a good position to take advantage of inorganic growth opportunities,” he concluded.
