Jakarta, 16 December 2024 – PT Dayamitra Telekomunikasi Tbk (Mitratel), as the #1 Digital InfraCo Market Leader in Asia-Pacific, continues to show real commitment to realizing a clean, transparent and integrity business. This step was realized through the Anti-Corruption Commitment Declaration and the acquisition of ISO 37001:2016 certification – Anti-Bribery Management System, as concrete evidence of Mitratel’s commitment to fighting corruption.
ISO 37001:2016 is an international standard designed to prevent, detect and respond to acts of bribery in the public, private and non-profit sectors. In the audit process involving independent auditors, Mitratel succeeded in fulfilling all requirements through two audit stages, namely Document Review and Initial Assessment.
Theodorus Ardi Hartoko (Teddy) as President Director of Mitratel stated, “This achievement is not just certification, but our strategic step in building a structured, credible and sustainable anti-corruption culture. With ISO 37001:2016, we ensure that all company operational processes have effective bribery risk control.”
More than that, ISO 37001:2016 certification provides a number of benefits for Mitratel, including:
1. Prevent and detect potential bribery practices,
2. Provide minimum anti-bribery management system guidelines,
3. Building guarantees to management, employees, investors and customers that Mitratel applies the principles of clean governance and integrity.
Anti-Corruption and Governance Commitment
Mitratel as a digital telecommunications infrastructure company which has more than 39,000 towers and more than 39,000 KM of fiber optic as of the end of September 2024, ensures that anti-corruption practices are the foundation in serving customers and business partners. This was reflected in the signing of the Anti-Corruption Commitment Declaration, which was held to coincide with World Anti-Corruption Day (HAKORDIA) on December 9 2024.
As a consolidator and catalyst for the telecommunications industry in Indonesia, Mitratel continues to focus on continuous improvement through international management certification.
“Committed to supporting the Indonesian government’s plan to provide equal access to high-quality telecommunications for all communities, Mitratel is the main driver of technology inclusion to all corners of the country. “For this reason, this certification will further strengthen our position as a telecommunications infrastructure company that is trusted and has integrity,” added Theodorus Ardi Hartoko (Teddy) as President Director of Mitratel.
